[Bali Day 3: Ubud Day Trip + Race Packet Pickup at the Expo]
Friday, August 21: Ubud Day Trip + Expo. We were out exploring from 8:00 AM to 7:40 PM on a 10-hour private charter tour booked via KKday.
#Satria Having coffee + a cup of civet coffee for 55,000. Lots of foreigners, very popular.
#Ubud Palace (Free) + bought wall stickers at the Art Market; the palace is exquisite and beautiful, well worth a visit.
#Dining in Ubud: 396,000 IDR (credit cards accepted).
#Tegallalang Rice Terraces: tickets were 100,000 IDR for two people, featuring rice terraces + Bali Swing + tandem sky bike + zipline—a popular Instagram-famous spot.
#Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary: Admission was 100,000 IDR per person, where we saw lots of monkeys, the holy spring temple, and a peaceful river valley.
#Bali Marathon Expo: picking up race packets for the full marathon and 10K. The check-in venue (Bali United Training Center) was huge.
