[Around the Island Road Race Day 6 2025: Successfully finished from Xincheng to Fenglin (51K)]

Today the weather was overcast and cold, with a low perceived temperature. Running along Provincial Highway 9 from Xincheng to Fenglin, since it coincided with the first day of the Lunar New Year, there was relatively heavy traffic and rather monotonous scenery. Along the way, I stopped by a 7-Eleven to buy a pudding to lift my spirits. Later on, seeing a vendor selling sausages, I went to buy one, but to my surprise, they gave me a sausage for free as their way of encouraging around-the-island runners.
In the second half of today's run, the soreness in my legs worsened, and my blisters hurt every time I stepped on them. So after finishing, I went to see an athletic trainer to get the blisters taken care of.
