Marrakech Marathon, Morocco, 4:10:25: successfully finished my first marathon in Africa.
On January 27, 2019, I took part in Morocco's Marrakech Marathon. I ran the full marathon, my wife ran the half marathon, and all other 14 members of our Lion Travel tour group successfully finished. Thanks to the favorable weather, we started at 8:30 AM under overcast skies at 8°C, and the sun didn't come out across the entire course until after 1:00 PM.
